Library Services

1. Teaching staff can borrow up to 30 books at a time for loan period of one month and another 15 books for course works for period of one semester.
2. Students can borrow up to 15 books at a time. Researchers & outsiders can borrow 3 books a time for 2 weeks. 

Library Stack Shelving

Books are arranged according to the DDC’s Classification number (000 to 999). The combination of Class Number follow by the Cutter’s Number for author initial and copyright date or accession number is so called “Called Number”.

Reading Rooms

The General Reading Room has a seating capacity for 30 readers while the Reference Room provides 12 seats for researchers.

Photocopying Service

Photocopying is allowed for only educational and research purpose by prior permission of the Chief Librarian.

Electronic Books and Journals

Journal of Burma Research Society (JBRS) complete set of 59 vols. in full text (1911-1977); Proceedings of 1^st to 10^th Congress of Southeast Asian Librarian (CONSAL), Dissertations on ASEAN with their abstracts is in electronic form and easily traced with the powerful research. Collection of electronic databases is available also in the form of in CD ROM and other forms.

Open Hours

1. The college library is opened from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on weekdays (from Monday to Friday)
2. The library is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
